Warranty

All equipment supplied on this website is for business use and as such is sold on a business to business basis.

Machines purchased from this ecommerce website are supplied as standard with 12 Months parts only warranty - You will be responsible for the labour cost element of the warranty

You have the option to upgrade to a full warranty at the time of machine purchase.

Machines supplied and installed by Dishwashers Direct Ltd or where customers have paid for the additional labour element of warranty are covered by the following.

Dishwashers Direct supplied ware washers with a full warranty are inclusive of a standard twelve (12) months parts and labour warranty from date of machine purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Extended parts and Labour warranty packages are covered by these same terms and conditions.

Dishwashers Direct Limited agrees under this warranty to repair or replace, at its discretion, any original part that proves to be defective under normal use due to faulty material or workmanship, during the warranty period, providing the equipment has been unaltered, and has been properly installed, and has been maintained and operated in accordance with applicable factory instruction manual furnished with the machine.

The labour required to repair or replace such defective parts will be paid by Dishwashers Direct Limited within mainland UK during the warranty period, provided that the labour has been performed by a Dishwashers Direct authorised service agency, having prior authorisation from our Technical Services Department. Any repair work undertaken on the machine by persons other than a Dishwashers Direct Limited authorised service agent is the sole responsibility of the customer.

All labour to be performed during normal working hours. Premiums for overtime working by authorised service agents will not be paid by Dishwashers Direct Limited. This warranty is void if defect is due to damage resulting from shipment, handling, fire, water, accident, abuse, misuse, acts of God, attempted repairs or improper installation by unauthorised persons, and if serial numbers or identifying marks have been removed or altered, or if equipment is used for purposes other than that intended.

Warranty exclusions

  • Detergent dosing equipment adjustments and faults except where the customer can demonstrate a consistent, regular history of detergent purchases from Dishwashers Direct Ltd
  • Machine interior or components found to be contaminated with calcium deposit, i.e. lime scale.
  • Inconsistent final rinse temperatures that are caused by site related incoming water pressure fluctuations.
  • Any blockages within the waste Pipework of the building, or flooding caused by pumped tank wastes provided and fitted by other contractors.
  • Problems associated with inconsistent electrical phasing or loading from the customers' distribution board or at the localised isolator.
  • Call outs to rinse booster pumps mounted externally to the machine and supplied and fitted by others,
  • Call outs for poor results where we find that the machine is operating without a detergent when required, or a wetting agent supply.
  • Where we are called to attend leaks and find that reported leaks are from apparatus not provided as part of the Dishwashers Direct supply package.
  • Where we find that non-Dishwashers Direct recommended parts or components have been fitted to the machine resulting in failure of that item.
  • Where there is visible evidence of misuse, i.e. damaged doors, operating the machine incorrectly or incorrect re-assembly of the machine after cleaning, wash jets or nozzles missing on the internal washing and rinsing system resulting in poor results, or where the fault has been caused by below standard cleaning procedures.
  • In the event that Dishwashers Direct Limited or its authorised service agency after examining the equipment in response to a report of a defective part as provided above determines that such original part is not defective, then the customer shall pay the costs of the abortive service call.
