Due to customer demand we have included three domestic dishwashers in our range.
There are times when a commercial dishwasher may be either over specified or too expensive for the application you have. For example you might have a school staff room or an office where the volume of use is very low.
Key differences between a domestic and commercial dishwasher
- Manufacturers of dishwashers do not offer a warranty for commercial usage. If the washer goes wrong then all labour and parts costs will be chargeable. Depending on the usage we may offer a labour warranty.
- A domestic dishwasher has much longer wash cycles. Anywhere between 1 hour to a 3 hour eco-cycle. Commercial dishwashers wash cycles start at 90 seconds.
- A domestic dishwasher always has an internal water softener and uses detergent tablets. A commercial dishwasher can have either and integral or external water softener and self doses detergent and rinse aid.
- A domestic dishwasher always works on a 13A supply. Commercial dishwashers work on electrical supplies from 13A upwards
So, there are some substantial differences. Please note that we do not currently sell to domestic customers. If your business would like to explore your options with one of our experts please do not hesitate to contact us on 0115 9613 720.
